Why is International Tattoo Day celebrated?
International Tattoo Day is celebrated on July 17, as we said, because of the National Tattoo Day in the United States. Origin of the tattoo
The origin of the first tattoos dates back to 2,160 BC. During this time, ancient Egyptians tattooed themselves to prevent disease and danger, as well as to highlight their social status. However, all these ideas changed in the 20th century. In 1970, a machine was patented that allowed the application of the micro pigmentation technique, turning tattooing into an aesthetic practice that has evolved to the present day.
